BCO London Seminar: The Circular Economy – Lessons learned, how to do it and why it’s more than just building and material reuse

The panel discussion will focus on two new-build office case studies designed and delivered according to circular economy principles: 30 Duke Street, a new-build office in the heart of St James’s, London, and Unusual Rigging HQ, a new-build office in Northamptonshire.

While many schemes focus on building and material reuse, this panel will also examine the adoption of circular economy principles in new-build construction. It will explore how clients have embraced this approach to create buildings that not only incorporate existing materials but are also designed to enable future circularity. The end result? Projects that are financially viable while achieving impressive sustainability credentials, particularly in terms of embodied and operational carbon performance.

You will hear from the clients behind both buildings, who will share their motivations for adopting a circular economy brief, alongside consultant teams with deep and demonstrable experience in making circular economy principles a viable approach to sustainable design.
